Your Myrtle Beach pictures are not of the same caliber as your usual shots. It's as if you are just putting them up to continue your 365 days of photography. Your usual artistic ability and delicacy seems to have vanished.

What's going on?

You are absolutely 100% correct. The shots I have put up of recent are pretty weak. It takes everything inside me to hunt shots during the day on vacation. I envy my boss who went on vacation recently and said he didn't even take a single shot of anything. I made a commitment to myself to do this photoblog for an entire year, and vacation is making it a little tough. And yes, many of these shots have just been keeping the one-a-day idea going. I am just utterly uninspired by anything I have seen here. It is nothing near a photographic dream. Too much tourism and commercial activity. There isn't any untouched land, nothing natural. It is also a little tuff without a means of personal transportation to go hunting for a shot. I am usually eating dinner with the family during the evening sunsets, which are also not anything to talk about anyway. Other than the Ferris wheel shot, I am not very pleased with much of it. Thanks for the post. It is good to see someone step in and say that. It gets pretty boring when all my feedback is positive. I appreciate your comment keeping it in check. This is one of the many reasons that comments are welcomed. There aren't really any excuses. Just sun, fun, wine and good times getting in the way of the blog this week. Just kind of in a photographic hole. Guess I really needed this vacation more than I knew!

Cuz,wish I was there instead of here. Nevermind you don't post an award winning photo daily. Daily means everyday, and some days are more glam than others.

I shoot pics every day too.
And I know very well that uninspired days alternate with inspired days!
Yet for me your pics seemed to be inspired this week, cause you were experimenting with blurring - and I like such unfocused, grainy, soft pics very much!
In addition I think it's really creative if you are able evolving new ideas in an - for you - uninspiring surrounding...
