"Old Gate" by Wes Aldridge
I was driving back to my house in the late evening sun. On 8th Ave. sits an antique store that I have passed by a thousand times since I have been in Nashville. The sunlight was crisp and golden and shadows were very long at hard angles. An old antique gate was leaning against the building and it caught my eye. The rust was beautiful, a warm auburn color from the rays of light. I thought, something that I have seen so many times and thought nothing of... it would make a perfect shot.
