"Downtown Hero" by Wes Aldridge
This is a civil war memorial statue in the historic downtown area of Dalton, Georgia, from where I hail. I had seen it a million times, but thought I should shoot it this time. Click, click, snap... captured. The sky helped it out a good bit. I enjoy the silhouette of something against a dramatic sky. Those shots just turn out so strong.
